Issac Newton
The objective of this course is to understand how physical laws are discovered and shown to be true and how the motion of objects can be predicted from forces, momentum and energy.

Topics include: rectilinear and rotational motions of particles and rigid bodies, forces, energy methods, conservation laws, oscillations and waves.

After taking this course you will be able to;

  • Describe the limitations of physical data.
  • Predict the position, and velocity of objects undergoing constant acceleration.
  • Solve linear and circular motion problems.
  • Understand the concepts of force, torque, momentum, power and energy.
  • Calculate the cost of electricity.
  • Use momentum to describe collisions.
  • Mathematically describe waves.
  • Understand the nature of sound.
  • Conduct physical experiments, analyze and interpret data.
  This course is based on the work of   Issac Newton.

Quoting Wikipedia.org;

Newton remains influential to scientists, as demonstrated by a 2005 survey of scientists and the general public in Britain's Royal Society asking who had the greater effect on the history of science, Newton or Albert Einstein. Newton was deemed to have made the greater overall contribution to science, although the two men were closer when it came to contributions to humanity.[8]

Newton was also highly religious, though an unorthodox Christian, writing more on Biblical hermeneutics than the natural science he is remembered for today.
